GRIHA Net Zero Waste (NZW) Certification has been formulated with the aim to recognize the efforts made by operational setups (hereon referred as project) in minimizing solid and liquid waste diversion to landfills. It prioritizes reduction in generation of waste at source, maximizes recycling and reuse of generated waste and encourages responsible disposal of the waste. The certification aligns with India’s national goal of Net Zero Economy by 2070.
